We can help provide relief from illness symptoms – like pain, or trouble sleeping – and we can help you cope with stress of managing a serious illness.

Our specially trained team of doctors, nurses and other professionals are trained in palliative care, and we can give you answers in simple language.

If you need us to, we have practical resources we can put in place for you at home.

We will support you throughout your illness journey, and should your illness progress, we can assist with home-based palliative care, medication for symptom relief, hospital bed-hire, and limited home-based care at the end of life.

Palliative care, while still a relatively new component to modern healthcare, is increasingly recognised as an essential part of all healthcare systems. Despite this, it is widely acknowledged that there is still inadequate access to comprehensive palliative care, and with an ageing population who are going to be living and dying with more complex conditions, the demand for care is only going to increase. It is estimated that the medical scheme industry spent close to R20 billion in 2024 on patients in the last year of life. Alignd offers an easy-to-implement and innovative care solution that will save schemes money and give patients a greater say in the managing of serious illnesses.
